had a good weekend. i bought a new incline decline / bench, some weights, some barbell bars, a protective floor mat, a stop watch, 2 new pairs of shoes, and a food steamer. it felt good to spend some money on me. it has been a while that is for sure. sure it would be nice to have a new wardrobe but that will come with time when i invent the new me. it is going to take a long long time to transition but in the end it is going to be worth it.


as a part of the new me i tried to identify the things that were holding me back in all different aspects of my life. one of them was the disarray that my apartment was in. i never quite feel comfortable there. so i tried to figure out why. well one huge thing is the clutter of all the boxes. so i cleaned up the empty ones and stored the flattened ones in the hall closet till i move again. who knows when .. hehhe … i then went out shopping again and bought some new book shelves. they are really cool … i am totally psyched. they are cubist design, all cubes stacked on top of each other. one unit, but that is what they look like. anyhow, they were a bit pricey, but i am going to do anything and everything that i can to get myself into shape mentally and physically. they will be delivered around the end of the month. that should get rid of all of the rest of the boxes in the living room. with a little organizing i will have that area wooped into shape as well.


i spent the better part of 2 hours on sunday cooking for for the week. basically all chicken till i can figure out how to cook something different. i am really pumped about starting on monday morning. i am doing the 5 workouts of the upper body from the body for life book. i went and copied a ton of the schedules and spent some time this evening planning my day tomorrow. i did not get to bed till midnight. i hope i have enough sleep for tomorrow. well see in the morning.
