personal no comments »well i figured i would take the time to send out an update. i am doing pretty good. the last few weeks have been busy, as usual. i threw my brother his bachelor party last weekend, that went pretty well. i wish a few more guys turned out but we had about twenty people there. not to shabby considering i am not exactly the master of invitations or planning. it was kind of a, lets see what i can arrange from chicago and on the weekends i am home party. but considering that everyone had a good time.
my workouts are going ok. i did an about face this week and reset everything. the last month or two i have been letting things get out of hand. instead of taking one day for free days i would start friday night at the bar and run it till sunday morning breakfast sometimes. instead of getting in at least 3 sessions of cardio i would only get in 2. i really think that the free days and the drinking when i went home on the weekends (even on the free day) are kicking my ass and slowing me down. i have not lost much weight at all these past two months compared to previous months. well, no more. on monday i reset everything to a new. i am resetting to the body for life workout regiment as well as a strict adherence to the nutrition for life as well. i will not stray this time … i have to many goals. don’t get me wrong, i did not fall off the bandwagon, but i did stop the wagon for a while. well now the wagon is tuned and we dropped in a new v12 engine. we’re going to kick ass and take names. as they say on the yahoo body for life club, jdfi (just fucken do it) !!!
i have been reading some of my issa personal training manual finally. i decided to start reading it on the train. i was worried about messing up the book in my bag all day, yes, i am anal about my books. but i finally decided that progress in reading the book will outweigh any scuffs or markings that the book may take on. i really want to try and take this test before the end of the year. that is one of my goals this year and damn it i want to reach that goal.
my food stuff, well i am finally finishing up some of the supplements that i am not taking any more. i am on the last of the betagen, phen-free, and l-carnitine. i am still going to use myoplex, cytovol, multivitamin. and udo’s. i am going to cut out the whole wheat bagles i had been eating, as yesterday i leaned they were a high-glycemic food that can cause spikes in your insulin levels which is something i really don’t want to cause. like my exercise program i am resetting my eating habits, trying to fit in more low-glycemic complex carbohydrates like brown rice, whole wheat bread, etc into my diet. less bad more good …
the wedding is fast approaching. i am going to be taking most of next week off in order to prepare for it and to help my father get the house ready for the rehearsal dinner. i figured he could use the help and it is not like i have anything else to do while home. it should be fun, but i still can’t believe that the wedding is this close already.
i am heading home this weekend as well, i love putting miles on my car. 40k miles here i come .. heheh … anyhow, i am going home this weekend with amy. i am going to introduce her to the family and stuff. i should have had her meet them when they were in town 2 weeks ago but you know me, dumb ass didn’t remember to invite her over. so anyhow, i think it is about time that she met them. her and i are still just friends … but good friends. i am not sure that i want to take that step into boyfriend and girlfriend and put the titles on it. i just have to much going on it my life right now for that committment. i know it sounds bad, i enjoy spending time with her, i just am not ready for that step right now.
amy and i are heading out to vegas next month for the mr/ms/fitness olympia. it is a body building show and expo. the biggest one to be exact. we are staying at the luxor while there … the expo and show is at the mandalay bay. they were all booked up though so we could not stay there. we already got the room booked, plane booked, and the tickets to the event purchased. talk about planning … it is going to be a great time. i will be sure to write about it.
