day 2 of week 6 on body for life. sorry for not getting an update in the past few days. between work, relaxing with my main squeeze, and easter .. it’s been a bit busy.

i did cardio at home last thursday but didn’t get my workout in on friday.

i ate pretty crappy on saturday as that was my free day but sunday wasn’t much better. i have to say there were some damn good eats at easter though. amy’s family is very hospitable and really makes me feel like a part of the family. while i didn’t see my family i did call them.

got up late this morning but went to the gym after work this evening. i felt like i wanted to burn some of the crap out of my system so i changed things up some and did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer. i set the max heart rate at 132 and just went to town for 40 minutes. slow and steady burn.

meals for the day:
  1. cottage cheese and 3 carob chip oatmeal cookies
  2. coffee
  3. turkey burger, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and potato wedges
  4. chocolate myoplex shake
  5. leftover hamburger helper and a few carob chip oatmeal cookies
not to shabby … i ate when i was hungry and still tried to give myself the most time before my cardio so i was on an empty stomach. i was pretty famished around 4:30 so i had the shake on the train with the shaker i brought with. i’m going to go with a few shakes per day instead of the muffin or other crap i was eating last week.

i may do cardio again tomorrow, this time hiit. since sunday is my usual cardio day and i feel like i need to push myself more this week to make up for last week i want to kick some ass doing cardio.
