Digital Web has some new articles on Information Architecture. The first, “The Age of Information Architecture” talks about how IA evolved from the webmaster role of the 90’s to the current age of “reduced development time, reduced maintenance cost, increase in visitors, increase in visitor time spent on site, improved actual and perceived usability, reduced time to accomplish tasks, increased sales and better alignment with the underlying business”. It’s all comes down to the Benji’s baby! The other article, “Beyond the IA Guy - Defining information architecture” talks about how IA isn’t necessarily a single person, but a team that understands the importance of structure and information flow.
