100,000 Mac lovers can’t be wrong can they? Not all of the upgrades went perfect. That’s good for Gateway and their assault on the iMac in advertising I guess. Honestly though, I thought Gateway was dead. Someone should really put that wounded animal out of their misery.

BT Hyperlink Case Tossed

“U.S. federal Judge Colleen McMahon has dismissed a claim by British Telecom that it developed and holds a patent to the hyperlink technology used to whisk Web users from one site to another.” The complete article can be read over at Wired. It’s hard for me to believe that BT thought they could win this case. What were they going to do, sue ever person that ever put a hyperlink on their website? Now I just have to decipher these resources and see if there’s one that satisfies my needs.

Mapping the Blog Genealogy

Here are some cool new genealogical blogging sites I found recently. Blog Street attempts to analyze the blog-osphere by looking at the collections of similar blogs created by the interlinking among them. Their top 100 is pretty much the who’s who of blogging. Be sure to also check out Blog Tree as well. It’s in the same genre as Blog Street but focuses more on what blogs inspired each other and are interrelated.
