How to Safelist an Email
Gmail
To add my newsletter to your Contacts:
- Open my newsletter email in your inbox
- Hold your cursor over the “From” address
- Select the “Add to Contacts” icon
If the newsletter ends up in your Spam folder:
- Open my newsletter email in spam
- Click the “Report not spam” button
- Return to your inbox to read the newsletter
- Repeat the steps above to add my newsletter to your contacts
Apple Mail on iOS or iPadOS
To add the sender to your Contacts:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Tap the From address
- Tap the address again
- Choose “Create New Contact”
- Enter my FIRST and LAST name and Press Done
If the newsletter ends up in your Junk folder:
- Select the email to open it
- Carefully swipe right to left to bring up the More menu and tap it
- Select “Move to Inbox”
- Repeat steps above to add to Contacts
Apple Mail on macOS
To add the sender to your Contacts:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Press the From address
- Select the arrow next to the From
- Choose “Add to Contacts”
- Press Done
If the newsletter ends up in your Junk folder:
- Select the email to open it
- Press the arrow at the bottom
- Select “Mark as Not Junk”
If those options aren’t available:
- Select the email to open it
- Right click on the message to bring up the menu
- Select “Move to Inbox”
- Repeat steps above to add to Contacts
Yahoo!
To add my newsletter to your Contacts:
- Open my newsletter email in your inbox
- Hold your cursor over the “From” address
- Select “Add to contacts”
- Select “Save”
If the newsletter ends up in your Spam folder:
- Open my newsletter email in spam
- Then click “Not Spam” from the toolbar
- Return to your inbox to read the newsletter
- Repeat the steps above to add my newsletter to your contacts
Outlook
To add the sender to your Safe Senders List:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- On the Message tab, select Junk > Never Block Sender
If the newsletter ends up in your Junk Email folder:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- On the Message tab, select Report Message > Not Junk
- If a “Report as not junk?” popup appears, select Report
- Back on the Message tab, select Junk > Never Block Sender
Outlook (Office 365)
To add the sender to your Contacts:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Rest your cursor over the From address
- Select “More Options” (three dots)
- Click “Add to Contacts” then Create
If the newsletter ends up in your Junk Email folder:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Press “Not Junk” > “Not Junk”
- Press the “Report” button to “Report as Not Junk”
Samsung Mail
To add the sender to your Contacts:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Press the From address
- Select “Add to contacts”
- Click “Create Contact” then “Save”
If the newsletter ends up in your Spam folder:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Press “More options” (three dots)
- Select “Remove from Spam”
Thunderbird
To add the sender to your Address Book:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Click the From address
- Select “Add to Address Book”
If the newsletter ends up in your Spam folder:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Press “Junk”
- Then select the “Not Junk” button
AOL Webmail
To add the sender to your Contacts:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Click on the From address
- Select “Add Contact”
- Enter a value in the First Name and Last Name fields
- Click the “Add Contact” button to save.
If the newsletter ends up in your Spam folder:
- Select the newsletter to open it
- Click the OK (“Not Spam”) button.
